Instagram has released one of their most controversial updates since the rebrand in May of 2016. Instagram's newest feature allows you to create albums within the app. You can share up to 10 photos and/or videos in one post and your followers can view all of that you share by swiping through the post.
So you might be wondering, what can this new feature do for my brand? Well, it's simple! This is a great way to add value, tell stories, and evdeepen the relationship with your followers. Let's get to it!

The Pros & Cons:
With every good thing, there's going to be cons too. Although Instagram Albums can benefit brands, they're not so great for influencers. The albums feature is another reason for an Instagram viewer to not leave the platform, so that leave's the person posting working harder and harder to make the viewer stay. More time creating content, more time posting, and of course with more posts comes more captions to write too. Maybe if Instagram released a call to action at the end of the album or in the caption this problem wouldn't be so scary to digital influencers?
